With simple programming, open source code and a carefully designed production process, Praia Bitcoin’s Paper Wallet with 1000 SATs is created from seed words that have never had contact with the Internet.
Each wallet is unique, handmade, randomly generated according to the Bip39 Bech32 standard with 24 words in Portuguese, using the Ian Colleman Bip39 activated from a macro on a completely offline computer. Then, it’s printed, cut, sealed with holographic security sticker to protect private content, packed and charged with 1000 SATs.
6 QR Codes are printed on the wallet, 3 of which are derived from the seed words. The first is the Native Segwit address to receive Bitcoins, the second is the extended public key (ZPUB) to import addresses in read-only mode, and finally the seed words, which allow full control of derived addresses.
On the back, we have the QR code to check the wallet balance on Mempool, the QR for the open-source code that generated the wallet, and finally the QR code to the Praia Bitcoin crowdfunding campaign.
The wallet comes with a small manual with basic information about Bitcoin, instructions to install BlueWallet and essential information to import the wallet in the user’s smartphone. You can onboard new users in minutes and teach them the basics of Real Bitcoin.
A real Bitcoin use case. A simple piece of paper, filled with practical knowledge of the Bitcoin protocol, which allowed the Students of the Municipal School of Jericoacoara to start their journey down the rabbit hole and reduce their time preference.
